Setting it up

  1. Run the installer. If Windows shows a blue box saying "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway.
  2. Open Schooldarshi and type your licence code. The computer needs the internet for this first step, for a few seconds.
  3. Choose a PIN. It protects salary, restore and other private areas.
  4. Add your school's details, classes and students. You can import students from an Excel sheet.
  5. Set up backups. Choose a folder, and a pen drive if you have one. Keep a copy of your backups away from the computer.

Onboarding

  1. Install Schooldarshi and enter your licence code. Your school name appears automatically.
  2. Open Tools and Setup → School Profile (protected by your PIN) and add your logo, principal signature, stamp and address once.
  3. Fee receipts, ID cards and certificates now carry your school's details. You can change the signature or stamp any time, without internet.
  4. To change the school name, contact Schooldarshi support. It updates on your next check-in.
  5. Offline + AI plan: open Tools and Setup → Papers, Question Bank & Notices → AI Settings, create your school's free key at Google AI Studio with the school's Google account, paste it, press Test Key, accept the privacy notice and save.

Moving to a new computer

Restore your latest backup on the new computer, then activate with the same licence code. Moves are approved automatically up to twice a year. If you need more, call us.
